2013 Summer Camps

This summer B2B Baseball and Softball Academy will be holding 5 sessions of summer baseball and softball camps at In-the-Net Sports Complex on their outdoor fields. The camps run Monday through Thursday 9am - noon (except June 26/27 camp). Our summer camps have been called by many as the most instructional camps in the region. We have an incredible staff that not only teaches age appropriate skills, but promotes an enjoyable atmosphere and life-learning experience. This is our 9th year of baseball camps, and our staff is very experienced with working with kids and teaching baseball.

This year we will have a range of instructors:

• Melvin Dorta, former Harrisburg Senator and professional baseball players, will be leading our summer camps. Melvin made it to the big leagues with the Washington Nationals in 2006, and played for a host of organizations including Boston, Montreal, Washington, Pittsburgh, Baltimore and the Philadelphia Phillies. Melvin currently coaches with the Senators/Nationals program, as well as Palmyra Area High School, Renegades Travel Baseball, and Palmyra Civic Baseball.
• Travis Risser, former James Madison University (DI) and Coastal Carolina University (DI) player who began his professional career in '07 with the Washington Wild Things. Rissers' contract was purchased after his '07 season by the Tampa Bay Rays, starting in '08 with the Hudson Valley Renegades at the low "A", before being promoted to the high "A" Columbus Catfish. In '10 Risser joined the Lake Erie Crushers and made the 2010 Frontier League All-Star Team. He is now in his 3rd year as PItching Coach at Palmyra Area High School.

• We will also have a special appearance of a Harrisburg Senators player to our camps!

The camps will be held at In-the-Net Sports Complex in Palmyra, PA. We also have an indoor complex at this location in case of rain, so we are rain or shine! The outdoor complex has great fields, and our indoor complex has great space to bring you the best of both worlds.

Note: There are age overlaps. If you feel your player is more advanced, please go to higher age group. If not, please choose the lower; or go with what level they are currently playing at.

June 10th-13th "Coach Pitch" (5-8 years old): Register

June 26th-27th Ages 8-12 year olds ($50/player) : Register

July 8th-11th "Tee Ball" (4-7 year olds): Register

July 15th-18th "Minors" (8-11 years old): Register

August 5th-8th "Majors" (10-13 years old): Register

Here are the highlights and features of the camp:

• $150 per camper, per session (total due at registration) REGISTER EARLY AND SAVE!!- ** Only $75 for additional siblings. (We will NOT be giving discounts if players are unable to make all 4 days of camp!)
• Camp will be every day, rain or shine
• Campers will get a camp gift!
• Campers need to bring their own glove and are encouraged to bring their own bat! Catchers should bring their own gear if they have it.
• Dress comfortably. Pants preferred
• Working as a "team" will be the emphasis of the camp
• Campers will play games on the field
• The latest skills and drills will be taught daily to improve each camper's baseball ability

Camp will fill fast this year with the number of weeks and maximum number of campers. Don't be left out of this great experience. Register today! Don't forget to print off the waiver form and fill it out for the first day of camp. We must have a completed waiver to allow your player to join in the camp.
